Cli-fi Teaching Resources

The goal of this site is to become a go-to resource for Teaching Cli-fi, packed with syllabi, reading lists, syllabus clusters, assignments, in-class resources such as videos, images, and or activities, slideshows, etc.

The page I’ve created for Kim Stanley Robinson’s Science in the Capitol trilogy (compressed as Green Earth) serves as an example of one I’d like to have for every book listed here. Continually updating these pages with new resources is another aim of the site.

If you have a syllabus to contribute, or if you’ve taught a class on or related to cli-fi, I’d be thrilled to hear from you and feature your work here. Send me an email, please: ted.howell@temple.edu

For now, here are two syllabi:

I also recommend checking out the module Cli-Fi: Climate Science in Literary Texts and the lesson plans that come with it.
